Avant Browser is a web browser to surf on the Internet.
This web browser is an alternative browser to be used instead Internet Explorer, Mozilla, FireFox, Opera or Safari. This version works with tabs like almost all the Internet browsers having in single window different web pages opened in different tabs and their behavior will be like if every single tab will be opened in a single window. But the features really important are: the online profile storage where users can access their profile from anywhere and you can have bookmarks, configurations, etc; another feature added it is the mouse gestures that allows navigating easily just by moving your mouse; it provides a built-in AD/Pop up blocker eliminating advertising banners and pop up windows easily; also it provides a privacy control to delete any track of your surfing on the web; it’s completely compatible with Internet Explorer; it provides skins to customize your browser; besides one good feature is the option to minimize it in the system tray; as many other browser has its built-in search engine allowing to perform searches with any search engine available. Its installation process is very easy and simple to perform. Its documentation is completed and detailed, including its FAQ section to help and improve the use of the navigator.
Some of the changes in this release includes: the search function to the Address Bar, the functionality to move tabs rearranging the order among them, rearranging items in Tab Context Menu according to the Tabs Bar position, it allows adding bookmarks with Internet Explorer 7, different key combinations were fixed and now work properly, also some floating windows now work adequately among other more.
Avant Browser runs in Windows platforms.
